The recording is finished! This Thursday we play our first gig in two months at the Evelyn with Taste the Venom and Puppetman. Cheap drinks, starts 8:30pm.

We head into the studio next month to record our debut album. It will hopefully be out sometime later this year. Arrangements are the same as for the recording of our EP, at Birdland Studios with Lindsay Gravina and Rob Long.

First show back is set for Fri 21 April, when GS will play the 2am spot at Pony. The show will see the debut of our NEW BASS PLAYER, Snoop (who Melbourne punters will know from his other band, Kamikaze Trio).

This Friday GROUP SEIZURE are playing DING DONG with two of Sydney's finest: PEABODY (who will be launching their new album), and a band who blew us away when we played with them recently in Sydney: TUCKER B'S. The show is presented by Triple J's Home and Hosed, and promises to be a tops night out.

Thanks to everyone who came to our launch last night - we had an excellent time and were blown away by the turnout. Thanks to Batrider, Nunchukka Superfly and the Datura Borthers also. Before we came on I reckon it was one of the best gigs I've seen for some time - and then we got to play! This weekend coming we head to Brisbane for two shows on Saturday 6th August. After a weekend of very little sleep in Sydney, we are heading to the Tote this Saturday night to play with BLACK DIRT (ex-Scientists / Beasts of Bourbon) for their album launch. Herald Sun gave it album of the week. Apparently Andrew Bolt's a massive fan. Also on are Cockfight Shootout and HTRK.
